Darker Shades of Grey

It is strange how a day can change in an instant, a piece of news and the tumult of thoughts, scenarios, consequences races through your mind, whirling like a blizzard. Stepping away and walking helps me try and order events, try to think of how matters would play out.

Tonight the solace of the river served up a little cloud, beautiful but bringing with it a chill that reminds me that autumn is all but here with us. The sky was a little blue the clouds gently following the course of our river, or so it seemed. I turned to my favoured monochrome, it just seemed to suit the mood of the shot tonight.
