Supermoon

This is, apparently, the third "Supermoon" of the year, when the moon is at or near its closest approach to the earth at full moon. If I could have got outside earlier and found a view of the moon nearer the horizon, it would have emphasised its size rather more, but I am still amused that here it seems to be outshining the streetlamp.
