Bouley Bay - Jersey

A quick dash to Jersey on business today, leaving enough time to grab a dip in the sea in the glorious sunny weather.

We swam round this rocky promontory and were surprised to see a kingfisher on the rocks. It's the first time I have ever seen a kingfisher fishing on an open sea cliff. Normally they are up creeks or bays. Very bright blue in the strong sunlight, but alas no camera and it had long flown by the time we got up here.
