Water War

These are my cousins Dominic and Gabe. Gabe is 5 years old and Dominic is 11. In this picture they were having a water war. It is ironic to see a 5 year old fighting an 11 year old with a water gun; especially when the 5 year old is winning! These boys are obsessed with the ocean so naturally they love water. Dominic loves throwing buckets a time, while Gabe prefers a water gun approach. Gabe also commonly mistakes the water gun for a sword. Dominic and Gabe are either getting each other into trouble, or collaborating to pull off a joke. I babysit them often and I must say they are two of the most entertaining children I have ever seen. When they aren’t having a water war with each other, they can be found swimming at my Meme’s house, or looking at/watching something that is related to the ocean. I have never met kids who have a fascination with water like they do. Their favorite splash around game is “water tag.” They run around with the water guns and who-ever is squirted is “it.” I have seen then go back and forth with this game for hours at a time. No matter how hot or cold it is, you can always find Dominic and Gabe doing something water related.
