Took Dad to the bank to sort out the standing order for the care home and to move his money into an ISA and savings accounts to get him more interest on it. Scary to think that his money will all be gone after 4 years. I can't imagine 4 more years of him moaning about having to live in a care home and that it's all my fault. He was on fine form today, but thankfully he behaved himself in the bank. I bet he's been cursing me since I left him. I've gone down as a third party on his account so that I can go to the bank without him having to be there. He'll be saying I'm stealing all his money.
Had a call this evening from my father-in-law to say Mr S's mum has been admitted to hospital to have a blood transfusion after a blood test done yesterday showed her haemoglobin levels were far too low (I think that's what he said). It's a side affect of the treatment she had a few months ago so it wasn't unexpected, which is why she had gone to the doctor to ask for the blood test. Hopefully she's out tomorrow and feeling a bit stronger. Poor thing.
