Monarch Butterfly

After trying to track this butterfly with the camera as it flew around me and at me, I was rewarded when it finally settled on the roof of the house. It sat there for some time absorbing the sun and gently flexing it's wings.

The back ground and lighting aren't the best but it is a lovely butterfly.
