Big Trees

Our last day with M & S & I in Sequoia.

The boys had hatched a plan to leave very early in the morning and do a big mountain hike, leaving us girls to hang out, drink coffee, whatever.

J left the tent early, only to return 30 minutes later with a cup of tea to say that they had decided to stay with us for the day. "Oh...um...great...that's nice..."

So...a hike to the waterfall up the valley from the campsite (with a mother bear and two cubs snoozing under a tree along the way) and then two hikes among the big trees. I'd say that the majority of the girls' team had probably seen enough big trees, but they raised a teeny bit of enthusiasm.

Really nice day. Sorry to be leaving friends. Done with camping.
