jiving at wine fest

went this evening to the Les Vignerons des Aspres wine fair which was held in the very impressive Caves Byrrh in Thuir. There they have the biggest barrel in the world, however its not 'beer' although pronounced the same, but a fortified wine that was extremely popular (for health reasons of course) in the Victorian era.
The local wine producers set up tasting tables between the many wine vats.
There was a local jazz band playing and I was very impressed by the locals ability to jive, especially when they all started spontaneously 'synchronised dancing' later on in the evening, no doubt helped by a glass or two of wine! I'd only seen the Sardana danced before, an extremely slow dance , but this was at the other end of the spectrum!
