Running to beat the tide

It was looking like a lovely night so I decided to cycle out to Portobello and catch a glorious sunset. Fortunately, it was a pretty poor one as I had forgotten to re-attach the tripod plate to camera after shooting in Milan and doing press-calls today.

That doesn't mean, though, that it's not possible to find a shot. I noticed this little girl walking along the beach with her father and knew she could make a grat shot with the reflection in the wet sand and it was really nice of her Dad to let her be photographed.

Once we got chatting it seemed it was her 5th Birthday today so Happy Birthday Eve and I hope you had a lovely one.
