Love Is ....

Will fill in last few days tomorrow, holiday wifi has been a pig xxxxxoooc.

Another glorious day on the beach .....

We decided to walk to the next village to eat tonight, it was a 2 km uphill journey. We passed some well looked after houses with lush plants, banana trees, date palms, hibiscus, I even saw a bird of paradise growing in the garden of an old lady.
She was sat beneath the shade of grapevines growing outside her door, all dressed in black like so many old ladies here.

We passed places that were empty, with a few clues as to what they had been before. I love looking at these knackered old buildings and the mix of beauty and decay.

Tonight we ate at a place called The Olive Lounge, Kim, who works at the travel agents that we always use in Muswell Hill recommended it to me. I had a perk on Tripadvisor too ( though I'm not really sure how one can rely on this site, I once made a terrible choice in a destination), the reviews were very good, but said that reservations were the best way to get a table.
We arrived and the place looked busy, the building was gorgeous, huge open roof terrace, huge palm trees, everything painted in shades of greys and neutrals. Wouldn't looked out of place on an issue of Living etc.

Greek salad, halloumi, rabbit stifado and chicken in lemon and herbs.
