Messing About On The River

Had a great day today holiday planning, seemed as if I was on holiday already. We went to Skipton to look at the boat we fancied booking for our holiday. This year it isn't really a narrow boat, it's wider, 10'which gives more room and it's wheelchair friendly for The Mother, just in case she needs a bit of extra pampering by September. So the Leeds/Liverpool is the canal choice this year and this is the boat!

On the way home we stopped at Kirkby Lonsdale for a cup of tea and a look at Devil's Bridge. I thought you might like to see both aspects of the day, anyone who has navigated the Leeds/Liverpool may not remember this bit!!!
