Bus # 646

Town service. The rotten devils only run until about 14:50 from Town centre to our neck o the woods, which is why we don't use it a lot: by the time we walk down, (for a spot of exercise) it's just about time to catch the bus back. Ergo we do a lot of "carring". Today we knew "The Wagon" was finished service & MoT so we took the bus to town Head to pick it up, and being in possession of a "wrinkly card" each, bus travel is free.
I've never really needed to research the truth, but I was once told that, when it started in the mists of history it visited 6 housing estates for 6 Pence.
This was the fleeting glimpse we got out of the front window along the main drag.

IF any of you have one of those good/evil notices informing the world you are sprog-laden I couldn't, as an ex-Firebloke, persuade you to remove it WHEN it isn't telling the truth.
It can save an awful lot of time for the lads searching a mangled car for a non-existent young un.
