Lower Winskill

A day which didn't go quite to plan. A very early start and a late finish was punctuated in the middle by a few hours of freedom where I managed to engineer an escape to enjoy a walk in the hazy sunshine.

Summer seems reluctant to hand over the seasonal reins to autumn but it can only hold on for so long. Despite all the pressures I couldn't handle yet another day spent staring out of the window at blues skies. There have been just too many of those this year.

I felt recharged for a little while but problems this evening have left me drained again. An early night beckons. On your good advice, I'm endeavouring to be a little kinder to myself!
