New day,new field

Contractor been cutting barley till 9pm today. I've been glued to the baler all afternoon,and after I shifted our old combine along the road this morning ,wee brother started cutting his oats.
Been a glorious afternoon weather wise,and it just about reminded me why we do this farming lark at all ! Would almost say I felt contented (mind you,like the weather that could well change )
