FALL ROBIN

They say a robin is the first sign of spring – not fall! This is the first I’ve seen since springtime, so maybe he’s started his migration back toward the south. Interesting that robins never sit at the feeder – they’re either in the trees or picking up seeds that the other birds have scattered on the ground. It was raining slightly when I took this, so obviously good lighting was only a dream.
