Caught by shadows

I had every intention of getting out today but ended up being lazy and stayed at home. As the saying goes, the path to Hell is paved with good intentions. Looks like I am doomed.

The back deck once again provided me with inspiration. As I looked out at the house next door, the light was glinting off the ventilation cowl and the Pecan tree was casting interesting shadows on the roof. I knew instantly that the shot was going to end up as B&W.

With my photo for the day out of the way, I went back to adding CD tracks to my iTunes library. Do you think I need to get out more?
