Taking turns.

We have lots of sparrows living around our garden, its amusing to watch as they seem to sit in this tree and take turns at flying to the feeders.

Around half a dozen of them will feed for a while then half a dozen more fly down and kind of push the first ones off the feeder, then another lot will fly down.

Maybe the ones in the tree are on lookout for the local cats.
