Don't cry for me Arachnophobic

I took the dogs for a walk (fairly) early this morning. First we went through Coffee Pot Wood (yes, that's where my name comes from, not a steaming jug of beverage) and alongside the river which was sparkling in the sunlight.

The "Coffee Pot" was the nickname of the old steam train that used to use this railway line (named so because of the steam coming from the engine). The wood was named after it following the closure of the station and the line, when the sidings became overgrown and eventually became what is now Coffee Pot Wood.

After the wood we walked through a very wet field (I had my wellies on) and the spiders' webs were glistening with the early morning dew. Some were in the shade so not sparkling, but some were in the early morning sun and looked really pretty.

I particularly like this one as looks like an eye with a teardrop. (It's much better viewed large.)

Nikonabike hasn't been able to get an internet connection yet, so cannot Blip his C2C ride so far.

I had all my curls cut off this morning. My alternative Blip was a picture of the floor at the salon, covered in blonde curls. They'll grow back.

Nikonabike may get back on his bike and cycle off into the distance when he sees my short back and sides!
