Gifts of Grace

By grace

Police

A most unusual combination of warmth and mist got me to fling on clothes as I saw the light begin to change. Again, flat calm, the world at peace, voices floating long distances, sound waves trapped by the dense mist. Even sounds softened. Such peace on a day of remembrance of our capacity for violence. Our need for violence?

Such were my thoughts as the emergency services loomed out of the mist. A few more images here. I just loved the way the camera turned the diffuse light to a halo.

More detail, of course, BIGGA.

Listening to a tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman's last film as I type, makes me weep with loss.
