Foolish Man?

There is a Sunday School song which discusses the wisdom or not of building your house on the sand or the rocks. So my thought for Thursday is whether to go for the easy, insecure life or something harder but maybe more durable!

Today we have been roasting on a beach in Spain and I really enjoyed building a sandcastle. I was getting quite into the whole process and debating on the merits of a 'motte and bailey' over the more Crusader style of castle. Having opted for the 'easy life' bearing in mind availability of craftsmen and tools plus time etc, a certain Princess decided it was not up to standard and stamped on it; the building team was not happy with that result and there was temporary 'down tools/strike situation!

Eventually peace was restored and you see here 'King Fabio' at his castle gates bravely commanding the tide to come no further. Bearing in mind that this is the Med he's in with a reasonable chance of success!
