Every year I collect a few conkers, they're like little treasures when they first appear. I got off the bus and crossed the road to the park and all these were lying in the gutter or on the pavement.

A strange day yesterday. We went off to look at a job having been told that there'd be a site agent with a full set of drawings and the knowledge to answer all our queries> Got there to find that the site agent had left and wouldn't be back for an hour. When we rang him it became apparent that he'd gone for the day thinking no doubt his time would be better spent watching daytime telly than actually doing any work. Very frustrating. We did find a bit more about the job by looking at the location but there's still so much no one's telling us
