Bobbles

I couldn't quite believe my eyes this morning on the way to school - all over town the posts and bike railings and statues and other street furniture were sporting knitted, well, things!

Is it a hat, is it a scarf? Some were strings of knitted flowers, once bicycle had a single bobble! Many of the pieces had a little laminated card from a local needlework/craft shop. Brilliant advertising, but I'm looking at it more as an art installation. A very cosy, fluffy, colourful one.
