Oasis in Rotterdam

The pond here of the cute little park Schoonoord (Beautiful Place) in Rotterdam almost down under the Euromast.
It's like a hidden garden and is located in the tiniest polder of the country, even named Muizenpolder (Mice Polder). The garden is 300 years of age and open to the public since 40 years now; it has a few cedars from the Libanon (you can see a stem in the distance of the pond) and a stone lattern donated by the city of Kobe in Japan, Rotterdam's SisterCity.

I'd first come across this park a year ago when hiking with fellow hikers thro' Rotterdam city and occasionally I visit it again.
