Pop Up

Popping up from in the grass this duck had gone unnoticed as it's head had been under it's wing having a bit of a snooze by the water's edge at Upton upon Severn Marina.

I was given a measured look from the grass as I sat on the slipway amongst all the duck and goose detritus. It was not too sure about me being so close but not too unhappy either. What a magnificent beak.
