Spotted Towhee

It's a blustery day here in Portland, with the east wind in full force. Unusually warm temperatures are forecast for the next few days, but the humidity is low and the nighttime temperatures are cool. I was surprised this bird wasn't blown off the fence, and I really saw very little wildlife on my walk today.
Grateful today for....the last days of summer and the feeling of Fall in the air.
