Wires & Cabbage Palms
This is the street opposite where my wife's brother lives, in Dún Laoghaire. He kindly fitted a new/second hand window switch in the door of my 99 Yaris, 16 years old but still going reasonably well, apart from the odd thing that needs fixing. While he was doing this, I took Lola for her second walk of the day, a trek down toward the coal Harbour Pier and back up through side streets, stopping every so often to shoot a few frames, till we came back to where we started. And that's when I noticed these shapes and colours, rich as those Advent Calendars we'd get on the run-up to Christmas, whose windows I used to love poking open.
