The Lark Ascending
I know... these aren't larks.
So... September Song Challenge, classical section. Knowing I'd not get a photo of a lark in a million years, I stopped after work in Skinflats for a wander through the fields, vaguely hoping for a nice, evening-lit pastoral scene to fit the mood of the music.
And then there were these swallows, so I stood and watched them for a bit, wondering idly why they were still here. And then it dawned on me that they were feeding young!
So no larks, but swallows both graceful and greedy. I had real trouble deciding which one to pick for the blip.
