Melbourne Morning

This could only be Melbourne. I've seen the Hot Air Balloons in Melbourne before but never in this environment. Usually they're majestically hovering over the high rise buildings on the other side of the Yarra. This morning I just happened to be walking along Nicholson Street at 7.00 am (don't ask!!) when I looked across the street and caught a glimpse of three balloons making their way across the Fitzroy skies.

This image is just such a contradiction. Telecom Tower, A glorious old Federation Chimney and a majestic magnolia and.............a hot air balloon. It was a no brainer for me, I had me Blip for the day!!
