The Dandelion

I walked past this wind sculpture called 'The Dandelion' this morning. It's made by Arts Republic. If you click on the link to their website you can see a video of this and other wind sculptures they have made in action and also a much better photo of The Dandelion than mine!

This wind sculpture was made with the help of some children at Queens Park Day in 2009, in collaboration with Kingsgate Workshops Trust.

Their wind sculptures are made from recycled materials such as bearings, film canisters, washing machine balls, Kinder Egg capsules, CDs and bamboo carpet rods. The Dandelion is made from fizzy bottles.
