A favourite pastime?

Gardening is not a favourite pastime for me for indeed it is a chore. I rather like gardens particularly if they are planned or of a formal nature but as for the work involved, well that is not for me.
My wife usually badgers me into a situation from which I cannot escape. Believe me I have tried on many occasions without success.
However for Father's day a suitable gift arrived which as you can see from the photo, will make the "chore" a little easier.

Why can't someone produce a self weeding implement?
