BEAUTY IS ALL AROUND US

Mr. HCB has gone off for the last day of cricket of this season, so the day is mine.

Whilst clearing the kitchen, I looked again at this lovely “Janet” rose that I blipped a couple of days ago, and which is still sitting on my windowsill - I have really enjoyed the beauty of it - watching it unfurl and become even more beautiful.

Reminded me of people who, when you first meet them, might seem closed up but as you get to know them, you see the “real” beauty, which is not always evident on first meeting - how much they enrich our lives!
