Spiral

The amazing spiral staircase that runs up the inside of Lord Hill's Column in Shrewsbury. I've long wanted to go up the Column and see the staircase, and the view from the top, and after being shrouded in scaffolding and off limits for over a year it has now been restored and is open this weekend for the Heritage Open Days event. The column is 133 feet tall and there are 172 steps to the top.
