Another damp start to the day, but the sun is now warm under the cloudy sky.

Sporty Bit . . . A grand piece of History !
Today, in the year when that world-famous umpire Dickie Bird is President, Yorkshire County Cricket Club have been crowned ECB Champions !
A combination of Yorkshire players with tons of grit, and a first-team coach in Aussie Jason Gillespie, a winning partnership has been formed. In fact, 10 out of the 11 Yorkshire team playing today all came through the Academy.

The only thing that I cannot work out is . . . their coach driver also drives for Sunderland Football Club . . . hmmmm . . . now he must have a special visa to do this job . . . hehe . . .
A grand achievement indeed. Congratulations to all concerned – and a moment of total pride for Yorkshiremen the world over.
