Hello Scotland!

After much deliberation about whether or not to go away, Matthew and I finally left for Edinburgh at 5am this morning, after about 3 hours sleep we were exhausted but excited to be together alone at last comforted at the thought of 3 uninterrupted sleeps ahead.

Arriving in Edinburgh just after 10am we checked in to our stunning b&b, One Royal Circus which as described by Rob Brydon a former guest is the 'leer jets of b&b's'. A beautiful Georgian townhouse, exquisitely decorated and luxuriously comfortable. The house owners don't live in the building and so the guests are free to relax in any of the buildings beautiful rooms including a drawing room with baby grand piano or the library/pool room which you can see in today's blip.

In the afternoon we hunting down a local tennis club and Matthew sweet talked the receptionist into letting us play and we had the most fantastic 3 sets of tennis. We went to the Witchery for dinner which is set in the grounds of Edinburgh castle and had a wonderful meal. Tired and content we headed back to the comfort of our hotel and had the best sleep ever!
