Barr Castle
Today's exercise was a trip on the bike to Glengarnock and back which my legs told me was a good workout. I have never stopped before to look at Barr Castle which is a 15th century keep overlooking Barr Loch. It was built by the Glen family but passed in the late 16th century to the Hamiltons of Ferguslie and was abandoned in the 18th century.
Spent a fair bit of the time thinking about the vote next week.It would help if the Scottish government would give us their financial predictions for the costs of devolution and the projected balance sheet 5 or 10 years downstream. Why won't they quote any figures. It is worrying.
