A Promise Broken...or Not?

This was the view from my kitchen window at about 8 this morning. The sun was bright and it looked very springlike. However, twenty minutes later, the sky darkened and it began to rain heavily.

It rained until mid-afternoon, when the sun reappeared and is still shining as I write.

Perhaps the rest of the day will be fine...
