If a picture's worth Blipping........

Went out looking for blackberries this afternoon and had quite a successful hunt, picking about 4lbs which is more than enough for a very tasty pie. I remembered that last year I had blipped this picture and looked back to see when it was; 22nd September and the fruit wasn't really ready yet, which is probably an indication of how much better this summer has been than last. There is still plenty of fruit waiting to ripen so time for a few more pies and crumbles yet!

To any Scottish people who are still 'undecided' in next week's vote, I am assured there is no truth in the rumour that the Loch Ness Monster is considering a move to Lake Windermere in the event of a 'Yes' decision.
