Lou's birthday cake

Louise, in my book group was 50 last week and as this is our first book meet since then, Bonny, who was hosting it this time, made this fabulous meringue cake!
It had rosewater flavoured cream filling and grapes and pomegranate seeds on the top. Totally gorgeous!
We did go on to discuss books, after we had consumed it with fizz!

School was a long day and Alex and I had dental check ups straight after school - all good - so I did my fare share of cake consumption with impunity!
