Tour of Britain (Stage 6)

Another late start after a grotty nights sleep! After showering and getting dressed felt drained so short walk with dog, who had last night stolen a Senokot tablet, but thankfully no ill effects this morning!

The Tour of Britain was due to pass by the end of my Mum's road this afternoon and Matthew had an early finish so we managed to get to see it!! Amazing organisation and quite a spectacle and noise as the main peloton pass by followed by scores of cars, motorbike and even a sweeper lorry!

This is Sir Bradley Wiggins passing by, he was not in the breakaway who had passed by some 8 minutes earlier, there were only 3 in the breakaway and these 3 managed to hang on to the end of the race with Alex Dowsett winning the yellow jersey, Matthias Brandle winning the stage and Thomas Stewart coming third.

Quite a day for the Chiltern Countryside with lots of spectators!
