Birthday Sunday Funday
Thirty Three years after my Mother brought me into this world, it seemed like a logical time to go to a playground. Just kidding, actually today was a rare occasion to spend time with big cousin Alison, Mya and Maisy, something we haven't been able to do since before my move to NZ. As it was a birthday treat for me and a little someting nice for the girlS after visiting Nannie and releasing balloons to remember her.
Heading up Anoch Mor on the gondola was todays treat, a lovely present, thank you Alison. A first time for the youngest of the group, it was a great adventure climbing into the moving gondola and picking up speed as we left the base building, however Maisy did declare it to be too slow for the rest of the journey. After lunch, we headed to the playground with one of the best views in the world, narrowly avoiding the mud and getting a rocket push! Walkinf to a viewpoint after that, with Mya racing ahead up the hill, we found a catipillar that needed rescued and some stones that needed to be taken home, once we reach the top and the wind started blowing, we had some more crisps and took in the view. After that it was all back to the bottom to end the day with ice cream and hot chocolate, a really lovely day out for everyone. Especially me and my lovely Scotland keyring from Mya and Maisy, the cap from their mother was just as appreciated for different reasons, I can't wait until middle age sets in and it gets some use.
