Kendal Torchlight

The Torchlight procession in Kendal marks the end of the summer as it comes the day after the County Show. Thousands line the streets to cheer on local groups and businesses as they parade through the town on various forms of transport. This one was from the RSPB and is an otter enjoying the clean waters of the River Kent!

I have captured some of it on YouTube to show the sounds better as my camera started to fail to take photos decently (flash kept bouncing off all the safety reflective gear!). Not sure how to get decent photos at night really with moving targets. Just a few on Flickr
