I hadn't noticed, but at the beach it became apparent that Matt and George must have both suddenly had a growth spurt.

In the traditional manner, they weren't keen to go, but with the burying and the leaping it took some persuading to get them to leave.

Heading back, Stella tripped Matt while he was running along the concrete ledge, and he skinned his elbow and hand. The thing that hurt most though, was that Stella didn't seem to care.

I pointed out that because he hadn't yelped in pain, she wouldn't even have realised he'd been hurt. But then, he's not really the yelping sort, our Matt.
