Day 2- Hes still alive!

Today is day 2 of having this little guy share the same room as me. So far, he's being a good roommate by not disturbing my sleep along with my dog (who is irrelevant).

In the morning before I left for school, I gave him some tiny bits of bread from my sister's lunch (Don't tell her). When I left, I was scared he wouldn't be alive. But when I got back, he was still alive; and only the smaller crumbs were left.

So I resoaked the cotton ball in the water bottle I keep in my room... to drop it. This happened a few times on the first day. I also gave him more bread.

The only thing I'm concerned about is the fact I haven't heard him chirp yet (keep in mind I'm at school for 6 hours and sleep for about 8). I still have to figure out if thats a good or a bad thing.
