Geranium maderense

Once, a good many years ago, we went to Sissinghurst Castle in Kent to see the stunning Sackville-West gardens.

One flower that really stuck in my mind was a Geranium maderense in full bloom. I really wanted to grow it at home, but it's a cool climate geranium, and isn't really suited. But I thought I'd give it a go (as you do), and this Spring it has finally flowered.
