Other Worlds
We spotted this great piece of street art in a little alley off Sydney Rd on our way to lunch today. The alley has far more works of art, and not only did this one depict a different world, but it got me thinking about the world of street art. As I looked at all the creations in the alley - bumblebee-cat hybrids, Indian gurus sprouting into trees, happy flies with stilt-like legs - I marvelled at the imagination and talent behind the art. So often we stroll past street art without stopping to appreciate it, just because it is on a wall instead of a canvas. I encourage you all to keep your head up and eyes open next time you find yourself in the alley ways of Melbourne, they have a lot to offer.
In other news, I have done a few back blips of Northern Ireland. Two favourites are The Giant's Causeway and The Marble Arch Caves.
