Abundant European introduction

In a tree near the top of the hill in Highfield Reserve was this Song Thrush. Stayed there watching me while I used the camera.

A restful day at the beach house. I did sweep the fallen leaves, branches, twigs and seeds from the overhanging pohutukawa trees, off the deck.

As I had managed a blurred shot of a thrush in January, this does not add to my count of birds for the year.
