Balancing Seal and Friend

There is a wonderful " family owned nursery opposite our new house. I am not a gardener but I am told that this is a "proper" nursery devoted to selling mature and unusual shrubs and plants. It also serves wonderful, freshly cooked lunches and all day breakfasts from a large marquee in the grounds. We arrived for breakfast and left with a beautiful magnolia.
Update on the house. Still not in. Builder had forgotten that the parquet flooring on the ground floor needed sanding and polishing. Since they were damaged from a flood when they took the radiators off I was surprised. So, we are running around Sussex this morning to hire the machine and to buy cream cakes and croissants to keep them sweet.. Anything to speed things up.
