Wasteland Oasis

Alongside in Bootle. Not the most attractive of places would be a whole world of understatement.

However, went to get a haircut in the grim local shopping centre and on the way back came across a section of the Leeds-Liverpool canal. A little oasis of calm among the derelict buildings and pound shops, full of birds, fish and plant life (depite plenty of litre cider bottles floating in the margins...) .
