Outdoor crop

I have always grown tomatoes in the greenhouse but this year a friend gave me some outdoor mini tomato plants and so I thought it was worth a try. I confess I am astonished at how well they have done up here in Scotland. I planted them in a fairly shallow tub and placed them in a gap in my heather border on the south side of the house and hey presto, tomatoes!
