Northern lights

Just before midnight we (me, hubby, Emma, Ilu and Sami) drove to Kauppi and walked to the banks of Näsijärvi lake to look for aurora. Nothing was visible at first. There were also several other people spotting northern lights, foreign students mostly. We waited about 10-15 minutes and then pale and slowly moving green light appeared to the sky around 00:30. The lightshow lasted till 00:55 and then the sky darkened. We decided to leave then, drove to the ABC to buy hot chocolates and cookies for girls and drove home. What a great experience it was :)
